29 October 2025 - Emma Pinchbeck, CEO of the Climate Change Committee, met with CLG UK, Cambridge Zero and CISL colleagues in our Entopia headquarters in Cambridge.
We were delighted to welcome Emma Pinchbeck, CEO of the Climate Change Committee (CCC), into CISL's headquarters in Cambridge. She met with CLG UK representatives, Cambridge Zero, CISL colleagues and members of CISL's Canopy network, which is a community of impact-led startups, entrepreneurs and small businesses accelerating solutions to global sustainability challenges.
Discussions explored how, together, we can create more impact through collaboration and find opportunities for the CCC to work more closely with business leaders.
The meeting was followed by an event with the Cambridge Conservation Initiative at the David Attenborough Building: "In conversation with Emma Pinchbeck". Drawing on the CCC’s latest work, Emma highlighted the importance of progress on policy to support ecological protection and restoration that delivers dual benefits for species, habitats, and climate action. She spoke on the current policy context, the opportunities and barriers to nature-based solutions for both mitigation and adaptation and the importance of nature in public communications about climate change.
