6 January 2026 - SolarPower Accelerator AB (SPA), a European renewable energy SME focused on powering zero-emission transport, has joined the Corporate Leaders Group (CLG) Europe. As the first SME to become a member, SPA brings a distinctive entrepreneurial perspective and hands-on delivery experience at the intersection of clean power, infrastructure and electric heavy-duty mobility.
SPA specialises in developing and operating 100% renewable power solutions for electric heavy-duty truck (e-HDT) charging, supporting both depot-based and corridor charging across Europe. By combining solar and wind power purchase agreements, on-site generation, load balancing and storage, the company enables logistics operators and charging providers to decarbonise freight transport while strengthening energy security and cost competitiveness.
SPA’s membership broadens CLG Europe’s representation across the clean energy value chain and reflects the growing opportunities and role of SMEs in delivering Europe’s climate, industrial and transport ambitions, particularly in the rollout of zero-emission freight infrastructure aligned with the EU’s Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR) and the TEN-T network.
Ursula Woodburn, Director of Corporate Leaders Group Europe, said:
“We are very pleased to welcome SolarPower Accelerator AB as the first SME to join CLG Europe. Their work demonstrates how innovative smaller companies are seizing the opportunities of the transition and already delivering practical solutions for Europe’s energy and transport transition. SPA’s expertise in electrifying heavy-duty transport adds valuable real-economy insight to our coalition as we advocate for policies that support a competitive, climate-neutral and energy-secure Europe.”
Pär-Olof Johannesson, Founder and CEO of SolarPower Accelerator AB, said:
“The future of freight is electric, and it must be powered by clean energy. The decarbonisation of heavy-duty transport will only succeed if charging infrastructure is powered by truly renewable energy, at scale and at speed. As an SME working directly with logistics operators and charging providers, we are pleased to join CLG Europe and contribute practical insight on how renewable power, infrastructure and policy can come together to accelerate zero-emission transport across Europe.”
Through this partnership, CLG Europe and SolarPower Accelerator AB will collaborate to advance policy frameworks that unlock clean energy deployment, support SME leadership, and accelerate the electrification of Europe’s transport and logistics systems, strengthening competitiveness while delivering climate impact.
