Sanna leads CISL’s external policy research activities and is responsible for much of the content development for the Corporate Leaders Network (CLN) and the Corporate Leaders Groups (CLGs) in the EU and the UK. After completing her PhD in social policy in 2007, Sanna has worked as a researcher, lecturer and research programme lead in the UK and Australia. She has extensive and diverse experience of research design, policy evaluation and research programme management. During her career, Sanna has worked on a wide range of policy areas, such as immigration, housing, inequality, urban development, deprivation and public health. Since joining CISL in 2017, Sanna’s work has cut across different aspects of climate and energy policy, including energy efficiency, just transition, industrial decarbonisation and climate finance in advanced and developing economies.
