This site asks you to provide information about yourself, via specific forms.
We gather this information so that we can process applications, send newsletters, or answer specific requests for information or services.
We use the personal data gathered via the forms to fulfil our ‘contractual’ relationship with you, and/or we use this personal information, with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time, in order to keep in touch with you via e-newsletters, emails or by telephone.
We do not share your personal information with any third parties outside the University of Cambridge, other than those who are responsible for delivering all or part of the group, initiative, or event, except with your explicit permission. We will hold data about people who have neither applied to nor attended a CISL programme/course/event but have consented to us keeping in touch with them via a newsletter request, brochure download, or general contact for two years. After this time, we will contact you via email to allow you to update your personal information and ask whether you are happy for us to continue to hold your data so that we can keep you informed about our activities/invite you to future programmes and events. You may opt out at any time by contacting info@cisl.cam.ac.uk or automatically unsubscribing to emails.
For members of our Network, including our alumni, Senior Associates and Fellows, we will hold a limited amount of personal information indefinitely as a record of your completion of a programme or involvement with our work, unless you request otherwise. Every two years we will contact you via email to allow you to update your personal information and ask whether you are happy for us to keep you informed about our activities/invite you to future programmes and events. You may opt out at any time by contacting info@cisl.cam.ac.uk or automatically unsubscribing to emails.
