08 March 2025 - The UK Corporate Leaders Group (CLG UK) is is delighted to announce the appointment of its new co-chair, Anne Chassagnette, Chief Sustainability Officer at Johnson Matthey.
Today, on International Women's Day, we celebrate having three women leaders representing CLG UK. Anne will join CLG UK co-chair Sophie Miremadi, VP of Global Government Affairs and Public Policy at AVEVA, in guiding the strategic direction of the group, alongside our CLG UK Director, Beverley Cornaby.
Anne brings a wealth of knowledge into the role, including being responsible for Johnson Matthey’s sustainability strategy and targets, including delivering on the company’s commitment to reach net zero by 2040.
On her appointment as CLG UK co-chair, Anne said:
“I am delighted to be co-chair of the UK Corporate Leaders Group, and help bring together businesses, policymakers and the academia to show how climate action and decarbonisation can foster sustainable growth. As a strong believer in constructive, challenging and transparent dialogue, I consider the CLG UK as a unique catalyst to drive the sustainability agenda, using collective intelligence.
