CLG activities at UN Secretary General's Climate Summit, New York, 21–23 September

21–23 September – The Prince of Wales’s Corporate Leaders Group (CLG) was actively involved in the UN Secretary General’s Climate Summit, and related activities, during Climate Week in New York recently. A significant number of world leaders attended the summit, including more than 100 Heads of State and Government. They were joined by more than 800 leaders from business, finance and civil society.

8 July 2016 – Following the implementation of the first carbon tax in South America, the Government of Chile, with the support of CISL and the World Bank Group convened a high-level meeting on how to progress low carbon development objectives in the region.

06 March 2014 – Senior leaders of major companies including Shell, Unilever, BT, EDF Energy, Kingfisher, Anglian Water, and Lloyds Banking Group have written to David Cameron urging him to follow the advice of the Committee on Climate Change and maintain the UK’s fourth carbon budget at its current level.
