The UK Corporate Leaders Group’s co-chairs

Sophie Miremadi, VP Global Government Affairs and Public Policy at AVEVA, was appointed as co-chair in April 2024. Anne Chassagnette, Chief Sustainability Officer at Johnson Matthey, was nominated co-chair in March 2025. In their roles as co-chairs, Sophie and Anne advise on the strategic development of CLG UK and help to represent the interests and concerns of the group’s business leaders.

In February 2024, Fleming Voetmann, Vice President and External Relations & Sustainability at VELUX was elected as Vice-Chair of CLG Europe and Gonzalo Sáenz de Miera, Global Director of Climate Change and Alliances at Iberdrola was elected as Chair. In their role as Chair and Vice-Chair, Fleming and Gonzalo will advise on the strategic development of CLG Europe and help to represent the interests and concerns of the group’s business leaders.

28 April 2020 – As the coronavirus threatens to pull European leaders away from the course set by the Green Deal, a new report from the European Corporate Leaders Group (CLG Europe) reveals how a transition to a net zero labour market can alleviate some of the most negative impacts of future megatrends and lead to better outcomes for Europe.
