26–28 May 2015 – The Prince of Wales’s Corporate Leaders Group (CLG) supports the world’s largest professional trade fair and summit on carbon markets and pricing systems, climate finance, and technology incentives.

As a co-exhibitor to the Carbon Expo in Barcelona, The Prince of Wales’s Corporate Leaders Group (CLG) is supporting this global event which aims to advance carbon pricing leadership.

The Carbon Expo is the world’s largest professional trade fair and summit on carbon markets and pricing systems, climate finance, and technology incentives. This year the largest-ever number of CEOs and ministers will be attending and speaking at the event.

The CLG is pleased to announce its involvement in three high-profile panels and side events:

Tuesday 26 May: The Transition to a Low Carbon Energy System: How to use carbon pricing and other instruments to catalyse decarbonisation?

This side event is being organised by the CLG on behalf of the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Environment, Isabel García Tejerina and includes a panel of distinguished speakers.

Tuesday 26 May: CEO Roundtable on the Road to Paris.

Philippe Joubert, Chair of The Prince of Wales’s Corporate Leaders Group, is moderating a panel of six corporate CEOs discussing the business opportunities and challenges for the private sector posed by a new climate change regime.

Thursday 28 May: EU ETS Turns 10: A New Beginning?

2015 marks the ten-year anniversary of the EU ETS, and after important challenges these last few years, is the worst now behind us? Will the EU ETS be successful in driving Europe's emission reductions cost-effectively or do we risk seeing its role undermined by other policies? CLG research into the business perspectives of the first ten years of the EU ETS will be discussed as part of this plenary session.
