Business leadership for a climate neutral economy

26 September 2018 – The Green Growth Platform will host its 2018 Summit on Monday 8 October in Luxembourg ahead of the European Environment Council meeting on 9 October.

The Summit will bring together Ministers, policy makers, key thinkers, and business leaders, alongside EU Commission officials and Members of the European Parliament, to take stock and discuss the opportunities, challenges and next steps to building an economy fit for the 21st century.

The Green Growth Platform brings together three distinct Green Growth Groups: The Ministerial Green Growth Group, The Business Green Growth Group and The Parliamentary Green Growth Group. The Ministers seek to explore, promote and pursue the economic opportunities that EU low carbon ambition can offer Europe. In particular, they want to reach out to a wider business, investor, economist and political audience to raise the level of debate in order to deepen our collective understanding of what the EU’s low carbon transition offers economically, how best to exploit the opportunities and how we can effectively manage the challenges.
