30 November–12 December 2015: We’ll be supporting a strong climate agreement in Paris throughout a series of events during the two weeks of COP21.


The Prince of Wales’s Corporate Leaders Group is actively involved in the COP21 Climate Change conference in Paris from 30 November to 12 December. Throughout a series of events, the CLG will support a strong climate agreement in Paris that creates the conditions for a smooth, just and rapid transition to a low carbon and climate-resilient economy.

HRH The Prince of Wales's keynote speech for COP21

HRH The Prince of Wales, Patron of The Prince of Wales's Corporate Leaders Group, will deliver a keynote speech at the Opening Ceremony of COP21, at the invitation of French President François Hollande. The invitation from President Hollande to The Prince was made in recognition of his decades of work to promote environmental awareness and to combat climate change.

Fossil Fuel Subsidy Reform: The missing piece of the climate change puzzle

The Friends of Fossil Fuel Subsidy Reform and The Prince of Wales’s Corporate Leaders Group invite you to the delivery of the Fossil Fuel Subsidy Reform Communiqué on COP21 Leaders Day. Pacific Alliance Green Growth Platform high-level event

CLG Twitter Q&A: What does business want from COP21?

Twitter discussion organised by the UK Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) as part of their #BackClimateAction tweetathon. Members of The Prince of Wales’s Corporate Leaders Group will answer questions on Twitter about business expectations at COP21. The discussion will be chaired by CLG Deputy Director Eliot Whittington. It will conclude a week-long social media campaign led by DECC on the theme: My Low Carbon Life, Cities and Innovation.

Two Degrees: CNN climate change debate

The Global Calculator Debate: How to build a low carbon future

CISL/OECD side-event: Pathways to a low carbon economy

The objective of this COP21 side-event organised jointly by the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development is to highlight key policy challenges and responses for countries and non-state actors in meeting the climate challenge of moving towards zero net greenhouse gas emissions by 2100.

Scotland Day

This full day event will showcase the collaborative approach taken by Scotland with its partners the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and the 2020 Climate Group to tackling climate change and drive a low carbon economy. Hosted jointly by 2020, CISL and Pernod Ricard, it will provide a snapshot of the various case studies that illustrate how sustainability is driving business opportunities in Scotland and beyond.


Building on the model of the Green Growth Platform, which creates space for dialogue between business, policymakers and experts in support of an ambitious decarbonisation agenda, the CLG will also convene a number of private high-level events on the sidelines of COP21 involving ministers, business leaders and other personalities.
