Business leadership for a climate neutral economy
 

Diana Potjomkina has joined the CISL Brussels office in May 2023 to work on files related to CLG Europe (including the Taskforce for climate neutral and circular materials and products) and the Green Growth Partnership. She has previously held various advocacy, researcher and project management roles for NGOs and think tanks in Latvia and in Belgium. Diana has worked on such topics as participation of civil society in decision-making and democracy promotion; social economy; social and environmental sustainability; and European and international affairs.

Diana holds a joint PhD degree in Political Science – EU Studies from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Ghent University in Belgium, with dissertation dedicated to multistakeholderism in the EU’s free trade agreements. She has also been a Fulbright Visiting Student Researcher at the George Mason University in Arlington, VA, US. She is fluent in English, Spanish, Russian and Latvian, with an intermediate command of Dutch and basic knowledge of French.
