Roger has joined CISL in April 2023. In this position as CLG Europe Senior Project Manager, he works closely with CLG Europe members to coordinate implementation of EU and international activities and events. He previously had international humanitarian and development cooperation experience in different complex emergencies in Africa, as well as managerial experience in the private sector and the Spanish public administration abroad. He has served in progressive positions of leadership over the course of his career, more recently, as General Director of Médecins Sans Frontières Luxembourg, before reorienting himself towards more vocational fields such as sustainable development and the ecological transition.
Roger holds a degree in International Relations and History from Richmond, the American International University in London and an MBA from the University of Valencia in Spain. He also coaches a youth basketball team in his hometown in the South of Belgium.
