The UK Business Group Alliance for Net Zero (BGA) is a formal network of leading business groups working to increase political and business ambition with the aim of achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 in the UK. It was established in 2021 with a particular focus on the successful delivery of COP26 in the UK, and has since been involved in a number of collaborative activities including the 2024 edition of the Business Leaders’ Summit.
Co-hosted by the UK Corporate Leaders Group and the Aldersgate Group, the Business Leaders’ Summit 2025 will showcase and reinforce the commitment of UK businesses to tackle climate change, as an integral element of driving sustainable, resilient and competitive growth. It will identify how collaborative action has driven systems change and can further enable emissions reductions while growing the economy. The event will convene leading business representatives to demonstrate continued business action, work on solutions, and call for ambitious and consistent government leadership towards net zero by 2050.
By gathering senior policymakers, business leaders and NGO experts in the heart of Westminster during London Climate Action Week - one of 2025’s most prominent climate gatherings - we will explore the UK’s role as a climate leader at the Labour party’s one-year anniversary in office, key challenges facing businesses right now and how we can unlock leadership to accelerate sustainable growth.
