12 June 2018 – As the EU Talanoa Dialogue and the Petersburg Dialogue kicks off a busy month for EU climate action, Eliot Whittington, Director of The Prince of Wales’s Corporate Leaders Group, explains why now is the time for the EU to show its colours on legislation currently under consideration and make a net-zero carbon economy the new normal.

A letter from leading European and UK companies and investors urges both the UK and EU27 to commit to continuing to work together to meet the commitments set out in the Paris Agreement, in any future relationship. It says “As leading European and UK companies and investors, we recognise that climate change poses one of the greatest long-term threats to our economies and societies. We strongly urge both the UK and EU27 to commit to continuing to work together to meet the commitments set out in the Paris Agreement, in any future relationship.”
