This letter from the CLG to Members of the European Parliament (MEPs), ahead of the plenary vote in the European Parliament on 15 February, encourages MEPs to vote for increased ambition for the EU ETS.
The CLG urges the MEPs to help restore the EU Emissions Trading System to its originally envisaged cornerstone role in EU climate policy. The EU’s leadership credentials will be undermined if the ETS is not dramatically improved.
