Event: Green Growth Partnership Webinar on the Carbon Pricing, 14 March 2022, 10.30 – 13.00 CET

14 March 2022 - The high-level decision makers from Member States and the European Parliament, leading businesses, researchers, and NGOs came together for the Green Growth Partnership webinar on 14 March and had a fruitful exchange on the role of carbon pricing in the Fit for 55 Package and reducing emissions globally.

High-level Event: Roundtable on Competitiveness Sustainability in the context of the Fit for 55 negotiations. 1 December 2021 | Corporate Leaders Groups

This high-level event followed the November Competitiveness Council and its discussions on the Fit for 55 report and the aftermath of COP26. This is a key moment to highlight how Europe can secure a green transition whilst ensuring its competitiveness.

Event: Green Growth Summit 2021: 5 October 2021, 14.15-17.15 (CET)

The 2021 Green Growth Summit took place virtually on 5 October at a crucial time when the EU and its partners have the unique opportunity to transform their economies and societies to adequately respond to the climate emergency while providing economic and social benefits in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Event: Unpacking the Fit for 55 Package: perspectives and next steps, 16 July 2021

This webinar was an opportunity for high-level representatives from the Green Growth Group, Members of the European Parliament and business to provide initial reactions to the publication of the Package and formulate recommendations on the way forward to achieve climate objectives and the transition towards a prosperous, competitive and climate neutral Europe.

Event: Bridging the Gap: UK business and policy leadership for net zero, 23 June 2021

This webinar took place on Wednesday 23 June, 10-11am (BST). It formally launched the Bridging the Gap recommendations report through a webinar exploring the challenges and opportunities for the UK to demonstrate climate leadership through the Net Zero Strategy to ensure it is on track to meet its ambitious medium and long term targets.

Event: UK Business Climate Leaders' Summit, 1 July 2021

This webinar took place on Thursday 1st July, 1pm – 3pm (BST). It provided a point on the road to COP26 that showcases UK businesses already taking ambitious climate action through committing to Race to Zero and explored the actions UK businesses can take to contribute to the UK meeting its ambitious net zero targets.

Event: High-level virtual conference: Creating markets for climate neutral materials and the role of EU Industrial policy, 11 May 2021

This webinar was on 11 May between 10.15-12.15 CET, providing an opportunity to learn more about how to create lead markets for climate neutral materials and the EU policy's role in decarbonising heavy industry.
