22 October 2015 – Business leaders from The Prince of Wales’s Corporate Leaders Group today urged European Environment Ministers to take bold steps to reform the EU Emissions Trading System and phase out fossil fuel subsidies.

3 December 2014 – The Corporate Leaders Group (CLG) and the Corporate Leaders Network for Climate Action (CLN) are preparing for an exciting week of climate discussions in Lima, Peru this month. The groups will be represented at the UNFCCC Conference of Parties (COP), amongst Ministers, negotiators, business, finance, and civil society climate leaders from across the globe. The 20th COP is an essential milestone on the way to securing a definitive global agreement in Paris at the end of 2015.

Business leaders write to MEPs to urge timely reform of EU-ETS

13 January 2015 – The Prince of Wales’s Corporate Leaders Group has written to MEPs, calling on them to reform the European Union Emissions Trading Scheme (EU-ETS) to include a Market Stability Reserve (MSR) by 2017 at the latest, to keep the continent on track for developing a low carbon economy and energy system.

3 December 2014 – The representatives met the MEPs in the European Parliament to make the case for a low carbon economy as MEPs settle into their new five-year mandate. The businesses, including 3M, BT, Doosan Power, EDF Energy, Ikea, Novozymes, Shell and Unilever, enjoyed a dynamic conversation with a cross-party selection of MEPs who congratulated the cross-sectoral group for coming forward with sound evidence.
